Tournament Governing Laws (Rules of Engagement)
Any team/ manager/ coach that accepts to participate in any of the PJMOT, should carefully study these rules of engaging on our tournaments and accepr them before getting involved. The rules have been set to guide everyone in compete in a healthy way, whiles we create a professional evironment to unearth football talents to motivate them beyond the limits. These rules will be improved each time it becomes necessary, you are hereby encouraged to frequently visit this page to keep yourself updated always.
A. REGISTRATION
- All tournaments require registrations of teams who either show interest or are invited to participate.
- The registration comprises of Team registration and Player
- The registration is to ensure effective organisation and administrative work
- Coaches and Managers MUST ensure to provide accurate registration data at all times
B. CATEGORY CRITERIA
The following is how PJMOT has chosen to group the various age groups to compete;
- U13 (16-Man Squad): Outfield players ≤ 42kg | Goal Keepers ≤ 48kg
- U15 (16-Man Squad): Outfield players ≤ 52kg | Goal Keepers ≤ 58kg
In some crucial cases, and where very necessary and applicable, some level of facial screening will be deployed to determine the inclusion or exclusion of a player in participating in a PJMOT category. It should be understood that, the screening is to enable the rightful age groups to compete fairly with their age counterparts.
C. MEDICALS & FITNESS
It is very IMPORTANT and CRITICAL for every Coach or Team Manager to ensure the full fitness of each member of their team before listing or briging them to participate in any PJMOT Game. This cannot be overlooked. In the event that the organisers of PJMOT receive any complaint or detect the use of any player who is not fit medically, the leadership of the team will be sanctioned.
D. OFFICIATING
- PJMOT make use of qualified match officials for all games of a tournament.
- Match officials are empowered to use all applicable rules of FIFA that regulates the game.
- All officials are expected to uphold fairplay, foster discipline and professionalism.
- Any disrespect to an official amounts to disciplinary sanctions.
- PJMOT adopts applicable rules according to the FIFA Disciplinary Code and FIFA Code of Ethics to ensure fairplay. Some of these notable rules include;
- match-fixing (FIFA Disciplinary Code - Article 20 and FIFA Code of Ethics - Article 29)
- illegal betting
- bribery and corruption incidents
- forgery and falsification, etc...

E. AWARDS/ REWARDS
Awards given during PJMOT are based on merits based on stipulated criterias. We constantly seek many ways of improving the criterias and related processes from time to time as the world of football evolves. We also look forward to introducing new awards from time to time. The following are the criterias used to determine the existing PJMOT Awards;
- Man-of-the-Match (MoTM): Skills, Discipline, Team Work, Game Impact and Respect
- Most Valuable Player of a Tournament (MVP): Skills, Discipline, Team Work, Tournament Impact and Respect
- Top Scorer (Golden Boot): Player with the most number of Goals. In the even of a tie on number of goals, number of assist will be used to break the tie. If a tie is still not breakable after considering the number assist, then the number of booked offences will be deployed. After this, if a tie is not breakable, a toss will be used to seperate the winner of the award.
- Best Goalkeeper (Golden Gloves): Clean Sheets, Saves, Teamwork, Tournament Impact, and Respect
- Best Coach: Discipline, Tactics, Impact on Team, Respect
F. MEDIA RIGHTS
All participating teams and individuals in any PJMOT agree to the following statements on media during all activities related to our tournaments;
- All data collected for PJMOT is for effective operations and administrative purposes only.
- Text, Image, Audio and Video content created during PJMOT belongs soley to PJMOT.
- PJMOT reserve the right to publish all tournament content across various channel for promotional purposes.
- Participants are required to follow our channels and may copy media pertaining to their teams.
- Under law, PJMOT may be obliged to release certain data regarding a team or play, which we cannot control.
G. PARTICIPATION
- Any team that register to participate in any of the PJMOTs agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations of our tournament.
- Any voilation of the rules will attract immediate displinary sanctions, leading to possible ban from our tournaments.
- Participants of PJMOT gives themselves another opportunity to showcase their talents to the world of football
